What's changing

There's a new Quick view on the invoice list. Open it from any row and a panel slides in beside the list with everything needed to clear a simple invoice — invoice, approval and Xero status, the supplier, who it's billed to, the totals, and every line item with its account, tax and tracking. You can review the invoice and send it to Xero from that panel, without opening the full invoice.

Why we built it

Clearing a straightforward invoice meant opening the full record and working across its tabs to check details that amount to a line or two each. For invoices that need no real investigation, that's a lot of navigating for very little decision. Quick view puts the whole picture in one panel so simple invoices can be worked through in a single pass, and the full invoice stays there for the ones that genuinely need it.

What you'll see

• A Quick view action on each row of the invoice list, opening a panel alongside it.
• Mark all as reviewed to clear every line item at once, then Push to Xero — both without leaving the list.
• A clear prompt when an invoice isn't ready: “Can't send to Xero yet — not fully reviewed”, with a link through to the full invoice to sort it out.
• Show in Xero once the bill is created, to open it in Xero with the coding you just reviewed.
